| 作品描述 | 父亲说过去读私塾，先生即老师很严厉，对背不出书的学生可以惩罚，包括用诫方木打手掌。有诗为证：手抓诫方木，专打书不熟，谁人父爱子，何必送来读。父亲说有个同学叫徐志民，因背不出书而经常捱打，故六月天也穿棉衣上学。 壬辰荷月王宪荣记 ^_^Father said the master，also the teacher，was very harsh in the old-style private school and was entitled to punish those students who could not memorize the articles，including clouting palm with the wooden stick.
